2020 Ram Eco Diesel Engine Failure

Hello. I have a 2020 Bighorn ecodiesel too. I got the oil pump replaced as per recall. How about trying a new pump on the truck before you give up on it. But the other gentleman is right about no more warranty. I hope for your sake that it can be fixed.

2018 eco diesel DPF 100% will not regen

Your question can only be answered by your tuner really... It depends on what functions and sensors they turned off. If you're deleting and tuning your EGR, DPF, and SCR, you may still need an EGT1 sensor. While deleting these components is common for performance gains, you might need the...

ECU Bench flash vs OBDII Plug-in Tuner

...no sense to disassemble the one side and not do the other. Along with this repair I will also do a "Full Delete Kit". My question is on the tuning method. Is it better to do the bench flash on the ECU or to do the plug-in OBDII tuner for the tuning part of this operation? Any advice would be...

update on gen 3 engine into gen 2 truck..

...had said MAP sensor ..when we cleared code after turbo line fix...ran like a tiger again.. If I bought a 50K truck that ran like it did before tuning/deletes I would have been a very unhappy camper.. The gen 3 in a 2014 truck tuned...is a great truck.. Limp mode is not like pergatory...hey...

New member here and I need some advice

What do you mean by having control over my tuning? I’m very new to the eco diesel, I’m mechanically inclined as I work as a machinist but I don’t understand much about the tuning aspect.

Tune is emission intact Tuning, Delete is removing all ( AECDs ) Auxiliary emission control devices, Deleting if you live in CA would provide less risk, just make sure you have control over you tuning..

New member here and I need some advice

Hello I purchased a used 2018 Ram 1500 eco diesel from a dealership about 8 months, I’m thinking about tuning it or deleting it but I’m bit unsure about what each means and how difficult it would be to do each one. I have researched it a little bit and it sounds like I could do a tune on the...

    Dpf 100%full before Deleting

...code readers, used Alfa OBD nothing, cleaned out the EGR tube, nothin. Soooo my next step is to delete it which I planned on doing anyway. BUT all the tuning sites say that you need the codes to reset before initiating the tune. How am I going to get this crap reset so I can delete this shit box?

    How to determine tune status

I tuned my 2014 ram ecodiesel with mrtuning and eoc performanceWhen the tuner identified the vin and ecm, i couldn't tune it because i didn't put the ignition on with the engine off. But i once i got it stuck, i found out, with or without codes, mr.tuning can send the tuner a stock tune file...

    2015 error message

I have the same issue here as well. 2018 Big Horn, 143250km Deleted and stage 2 tuning (EGR Not deleted) this week, and then, 200km later, "Service Electronic Throttle Control" (NO MIL). No codes. No power when stepping on the gas but it moves, not in total limp mode. I've been reading the...

Hopefully you’re still active. I’m also in Ontario. Anyway you have that shop info? (Message me if possible) I just did MR tuning (stage 2) last week full delete with exhaust. Cut all sensors from downpipe on. Didn’t touch egt#1 sensor. Since the tune deactivates all the other sensors and they...

    Delete kits

...stressful and I didn’t know what I wanted to do for sure. From my understanding, every company recommends removing EGR. I understand there is tuning that can “turn off the EGR”, however, when I removed mine, you will see why you want to remove it. The amount of gooey suit build up was...

    Delete kits

The only reason I suggest EOC is the truck does not need to have hardware removed to stop the EGR. I talked to Mr.Tuning the company that supplies the tuning to EOC and maybe thats the route to go???. Having a really hard time figuring this out. And yes I reviewd the last few reviews of EOC on...

    Delete kits

Explosive Diesels is who I went through for a full delete and tunes. They are amazing with customer service, it was easy to do, and their products are second to none. EOC products got stuck in customs for 3 months. I asked for a refund and they said no. They told me the only solution was...

    Delete kits

EOC is the only game in town for full delete tuning. Yes customer service is terrible, yes looking for support terrible. But there tuning seems solid. Torn between GSE none delete and EOC. They have a facebook page with much more info.

In most cases after deleting, "Service Electronic Throttle Control" (NO MIL) was not handle correctly in the Delete Tuning... Also check all connections under the hood and Dash.
