i installed one one my2015 eco, piece a cake, i think i had loose the bracket for the cooler lines that run under it,
and i used a sealer i got from the chevy dealer used for there oil pans and valve covers, maybe an hour total....
cummins engines have a very reliable track record, how many blown engines do you see with the cummins? less bullshit when you have warranty issues
and as far as i know they did not lie about their emissions, and i cannot find that any recent engine fires with the cummins, plus a better resale...
i called gde and found they have shut there doors and are not returning phone calls, just as well i got rid of truck anyway, i do miss it, but i think I'm money ahead with out it o-well live and learn the hard way. (sometimes i think i may have pissed off a witch in my passed life)
it will take another (class action) to settle these new problems, most likely years back and forth in court and fca claimed no fault
in this first go-round good luck with a second one
That is the same mileage i had when i traded mine in, i had a (gde) flash at the time, which was flashed over by the AEM update, i was going to give it about a month and then get (gde) to reflash for $50.00, now i find out that gde is shut down, and to ad insult to misery i would of had to have...

traded my 2015 eco Laramie crew cab for a 2017 long horn 2500 cummins, Chrysler offer was 26k, found a 2500 at the chevy dealership, they gave me 30k for my eco i thought that was fair, paid 43k for the 2500 longhorn with 34k still had factory warranty, it came down to much baggage with...
ok if this can be fixed with a simple flash update, then what was the point in the first place? sounds like someone is
pissing on our leg and calling it rain, and it is not just fca either, why would fca go to all this trouble and expense to hide
something that could be fixed with a simple...
yes that's right, but being checked down and harnessed like this there is just no longevity, and that goes for
any diesel manufactured for the us market, it the price we pay to stabilize the damage that's been done.
the solution is there but it's being doled out with an eye dropper
