2014 EcoDiesel with 1777.26 Miles do regular Maintenace on oil changes... is there anything i can do to this thing to avoid Future Engine Failures?.

With 1777.26 Miles do regular Maintenance on oil changes... is there anything I can do to this thing to avoid Future Engine Failures?...I've read a couple of posts and google some information some say at 2000.00 Miles is when the problems arise...so..

I think half the problem is people using them like a 3/4 ton diesel. That said, I use a friction modifier (Archoil AR9100) in my 2016 since bearing lubrication seems to be the Achilles heel with these things. Mine has 30,000 miles on it now and no issues yet. I also have the GDE tune.

I suspect that soot from the EGR and fuel contamination of the oil caused by short trip driving play their part in making the oil less effective. That, along with some poor work by the Italians in Centro, Italy. I think the best thing to do is use the GDE tune to keep the oil clean, high quality API CJ/CK-4 synthetic oil, and highway driving.
