I have a 2015 with 5,300 mile. I was hearing a sound like there was no power steering fluid. The end result was that they replaced the steering column and rack and pinion. Anyone else had this issue? I'm very concerned.

Welcome to the forum Brett.

This is the first I've heard of this problem. It could just be back luck, rather than a problem for them all. Did they say what failed?

That is weird given its an electric system...I haven't heard of those issues the only thing I have is a small clunk every once in a while in the front end when turning at low speeds. Not sure what to attribute it to.

I wouldn’t be too worried, that electric power steering system is in all the new 1500 Rams and I haven’t heard of that many failures. Sounds like they fixed it and you are good to go.

Nope, the steering system on this truck is great, no issues. And if you didn't know, because it's so smooth, it's electric system. First vehicle that I have drove with this type of a system. Love it.
Not sure how it would react to a flat tire, but so far no issues.
