It's been a while since I've posted, but I've finally had some issues, now at 48k miles on a 2018 with GDE tune. Wiring harness under the body on frame is loose where it connects near the front behind left tire. I guess the previous owner had the same issue and zip tied it together. Anyways, typical problems that everyone else reports: while driving and hitting a bad bump it'll read 'Do Not Shift To P Until You Reach...', then I'll park it and get under the truck and squeeze those connections together and get back on the road. One time while reversing in a parking spot, I softly tapped the curb and it happened. Same fix, get under truck squeeze the connections.

Anyways, I took it to the dealer (Hendrick Charleston) yesterday and they quoted me ~$1200 parts and labor to replace the wiring harness. I contested that this should have been found and corrected by them before they sold the truck to me with a CPO warranty back in 2020. I thought this would be covered under the powertrain part of the warranty but apparently not.

Service manager called back and said they would split the difference, making it $629. Is this a fair deal? Or should I just zip-tie it back tighter?

**EDIT**Adding the codes I pulled before switching back to regular tune to bring into dealer:
U0101 - Lost Communication with TCM
U0001 - High Speed CAN Bus
P1DD2 - Torque Request Signal Denied
P016F - Closed loop fuel pressure control @ limit/pressure too low (no boost)

yep, take the offer. I would want to see the wiring replaced "plug to plug" and not spiced or "zip tied"

I would Dia-electric the entire Male Connector and the face of the female side plus the grommet and Double ZIp-Tie, secure it to any face so it cannot wiggle... If that don't work, take the deal
