Hey Guys,
I'm not sure if anyone has had this issue or not with their Ram. But I have a 2019 1500 EcoDiesel Laramie, I'm trying to change the tire size from the stock 275/60R20 to my winter 265/70r17 tires. I used the directions on here by choosing "BODY COMPUTER - MY2013-17 PowerNet" then " Program Tire Size" and selecting "P265/70R17 A/T". However once I do that and switch the ignition back to RUN, I get a message on my dash "AUTOPARK DISABLED", "SERVICE TRAILER BRAKE" and "MEMORY CANNOT BE SET WHILE VEHICLE IN MOTION" ??? Which is weird since I'm still parked and the truck isn't even on. As soon as I switched back to the factory 275/60R20 setting those error codes disappeared. Am I using the correct Control Unit - "MY2013-17 PowerNet" or should I be using " BODY COMPUTER -MY2019 PowerNet" ?

Sometimes you need to surf around until you fin the correct control unit, Do you have the bypass module install since its 2019, its odd generally W/O the Bypass the connect states cannot communicate with module.

Hi TC Diesel, yeah I have the KaodTech Security Bypass Cable. I think I'm just using the wrong PowerNet setting. I want to use the 2019 but I'm not sure if it's for the Classic or DT new gen RAM.

I have an engine light on because of a short in the auto high beam module. The dealer wants $1,200 to replace it. The lights work fine. Does anyone know if I can use alpha to turn the auto high beam module off and get rid of the engine light?

Possibly if you told it that was not an option, I’m going to try it on an engine brake on a 2500 soon to disable it

Is it worth it to buy this for my eco if I have a 2000 dollar scanner which can run tests etc or will this be able to really do more than all that?

For the 100$ you’ll invest in near dealer level software and connection device, yes. My buddy has an 5k$ matco scanner and cannot touch what this software does to change vehicle settings from what we determined.

IMO Alfa 2nd Only to WITECH. You can have those Matco, Snap-on China Origin Products. Those Tools work on everything Great at NOTHING. You can download many apps for the sensor/gauge view of those tools.

The Alfa Does NOT flash or capable of Making Keys, Also it will not add to the Sales Code/Line sheet, only to vehicle, So if you change the setting(s) in the module that get's the Update (TechAUT at Dealer) you will need to re-do.
Just pointing out for those reading this thread now that alpha does now in fact flash keys, I programmed a couple for my truck a couple months back. I'll be using alpha again next week to program the vin and mileage into my upgraded cluster. Alpha OBD is one of the best $50 I spent towards my truck and for those on a budget it works fine with the $10-12 elm327 adapters to interface with the truck as well. I used it to add led and HID lights, reprogram tire size, enable a third party rear view camera on the factory stereo, change my light /fob behavior beyond what the customer truck settings allow..

You are just asking for Trouble in the future When making Keys....Keyless go.... I should rephrase NOT capable of Making Keyless GO FOB correctly.
You are welcome to buy whatever you mentally and finically capable of. Alfa made a cluster mess out of My 2019 Limited Keyless go. I have WITECH to fall back on the downside the attempted Key use was spent.

If you're considering Making your own Keys, The WIN module you likely to be trouble Free, its the Keyless Go that's caution needs to be used.

Don't take this the wrong way (but of course you can take it any way you like, whatever that was supposed to mean? ) but multiple people on the ram forum have used and confirmed alpha obd does work to program the keyless fobiks so I dont know perhaps the program had a bug at the time you attempted it or it was user error.. or maybe that mental capability thing you mentioned whatever that was implying..

As far as I’m aware yes. I use the wifi version of the elm 327 Adapter for use with my computer or tablet or iPhone and it does it all also. 27$ or so on Amazon.
