Hi All,

I picked up a new 2015 Laramie In June of 2015. So far I've put 90,000 kms on it. Love most things about this truck ...just not keen on the front hubs/bearings. Not very helpful with technical issues, but I'll wade in if I can.

It's in the shop again (overnight this time) for another front end hub/bearing. The second in 90,000 kms. I've never put a wheel/hub bearing in any other vehicle I've owned in all my years of driving. Several vehicles I've run up and over 500,000 kms. I'm hoping this is a case of bad luck.

I wouldn't stress about a bad hub. It happens across all IFS 4wd trucks. Sometimes they just fail. More so for driving in rough elements and bigger, wider tires...

What was the verdict? A simple hub replacement isn't more then 2 hours tops if things go smoothly...

No, I'm not too stressed, and provided it doesn't happen every 20 K I'll be fine. It must have just been a defective bearing, Dealer didn't have the part but came thru for me for coverage. Only drag was I had places to be and had to rent a ..........(God forbid) car ...
