According to the Owner's Manual there is no break-in period for normal use. However, it asks you to not tow for the first 500 miles, and for the first 500 miles of towing to not exceed 50 mph and to not start at full throttle. In general they recommend that you should warm up the engine before use, do not idle for long periods, vary the throttle position at highway speeds, and cool off the engine before shutting down.
