I purchased this truck at an online auction a month ago. Is seemed to be an ok truck, but before I got home with I got a CEL and it seemed to go in to limp mode. I cleared the codes and drove on. I had to clear them a couple times before I got home, but the primary code is for a fuel rail pressure sensor.
Can somebody tell me how you release fuel pressure before removing the sensor? I was gonna pull the fuse and run the truck, but I don’t see a fuel pump fuse.
Any help would be appreciated and I’m sure I’ll have more questions.

Just shut engine off remove negative cable, in the time it takes to remove the cable press will be 0 PSI. The rail sensor is generally not the problem it's the electronic PRV.

There should be a schauder valve on the fuel rail just pock it with a pocket screw driver and make sure your face isn’t in the way of it.
