Just purchased a 2020 Ram Limited with the Ecodiesel yesterday with 41000 miles. Clean Carfax and excellent condition. I had a Ecodiesel previously in a 2014 Jeep GC and loved it until wife job got closer to home and kept plugging up the DPF. Any good tips for the 3rd Gen Ecodiesel? Looking to run the T6 5W-40 motor oil.

Hey everyone. I have a 2015 Jeep GC with the ecodiesel. It has about 130,000 miles on it, so I feel fortunate. It has been a great vehicle and I have loved the diesel until about a year ago. Lost the innercooler and had to flush both the oil and coolant in the diesel. Next came a ticking sound that turned into a locked up engine. I am trying to figure out what to do with it. I was looking at Randy at Ecodiesel rebuilding it. Fraser engine rebuilds has one I can just drop in and there is always the junk yard motor, but you have no idea how long it will last. Someone mentioned the Peter Brothers but I can't seem to find a website for them. Anyway, I really don't want to throw it away, but need to come up with a solution. All help and ideas welcome. Thanks.
