Truck Year
2014
Hi everyone,

My name is Mac, from southern Virginia. Just picked up a 2014 Laramie ED yesterday, and so far so good. I've heard of horror stories with some of these trucks, so I'm very hopeful this truck is not plagued with issues.

About 45k on the odometer. Upgraded from a 2013 SLT Hemi QC. New truck is 2014 Laramie ED Crew 6'4" bed (149" WB).

I'm excited, and hope to have this truck for a long time.

I've heard a lot of folks are indicating the GDE tune is great, but I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet, as I'll be under warranty for a while (extended warranty).

Any other suggestions you can offer would be appreciated. I'm new to diesel in general. I've picked up some fuel additive, and plan to get the fuel filter replaced soon - not sure the last time it was done since it's used... My local dealership indicated they charge $85 for ED oil changes. Not too bad, and the service record would be officially recorded in the event I need to claim warranty work...

Thanks guys, I look forward to interfacing with you all here!

Cheers.
