Hello all,

I am on my 2nd EcoDeisel. I bought a 2014 from my father and ran into the obvious problems that the 14's had. Ram took care of me, but meanwhile, I was looking to get a newer model once the problems were resolved. I bought a used 2017 and had it deleted about 2 years ago. It was running great until Halloween night 2025. The dreaded "Service Electronic Throtle Control" light came on. The truck became very sluggish and will not change gears while under load. I took it to the garage that deleted it and they cannot find what is wrong. They say they have checked the wiring and that they cannot get the truck to throw a code to tell them what is wrong. It still runs like crap and they do not not know what to do. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any advice as to what to do next? I love this truck and it is approaching 170K. Thanks in advance.

hey Jbeckler. I have a 2016 Ecodiesel and I am getting ready to delete mine as well. I was curious if you only have the EGR and DPF deleted or did you delete the flap valves as well?
My wife took over my Audi Q7 TDI which we just fully deleted and went stage 3 on, tune was done by Tunezilla, they have a siste company https://powerpulltuning.com/catalog/Dodge/2016/Ram-1500/3.0L-Eco-Diesel-V6?ecu=Stage-1
that offers tunes for our trucks. Might not be a bad idea to get in touch with the tuner and see if they will be able to make alterations to the tune to get you back on track. Just food for thought. . . . Guys at Tunezilla kicked butt with our Q7

Only time I have seen that problem on mine a 2020 engine in a 2014 truck-tuned-totally deleted-including swirl valves, is when the cold air line blows off..ie low inlet pressure..Could you have a bad or dirty map sensor? or low turbo boost?
