New mopar tailgate is 455 then new Paint. But the bed liner can never be matched off the assembly line. So either fix it or put something wrong on a 6 month old truck. That bothers me a lot

Your obviously on top of the issue. Short of doing the insurance thing and then dealing with the increases and penalties caused by an "at-fault" accident, you need to do the calculations you are doing.
