Has anyone removed the turbo oil feed line? I need to remove that line and replace. But the clearance is damnly impossible to get too. Is there a way to do it without removing the cab or the transmission
I took mine out when I replaced my turbo coolant line and intake recently. Getting the oil line back on at the engine was a real challenge. I ended up using a rubber band to hold the washers and banjo bolt in place and the using a flex end box ratchet wrench (90 tooth) and a magnet on the engine in front of the nub that the bajo bolt goes into. I also used an inspection camera from the bottom over the transmission from the driver's side to make sure it was square. Once it was seated I cut the elastic band (carefully so as not to scratch the crush washer) and pulled it out with extra long needle nose pliers. Not fun at all.
