Was traveling across the country from nv to ny.ETC light came on and I lost power.took it to the dealership they said it was the intake manifold.anyone know why that happened?

Yes they get carboned up and holes burned through them because the owners don't delete the EGR welcome to the forum

Welcome..

ETC could mean a number of things, more than likely it's emissions related. I'd recommend reading around the forum as we have plenty of threads around this issue that can maybe point you in the right direction.
