Found out about a reall about the erg cooler does anyone have information on it

The EGR Cooler is covered under FCA recall VB1. There appears to be significant wait time so you might take it in sooner than later. My cooler failed at 82k...so I deleted. This forum is a treasure trove of good information, either way.

Read up on the 3.0VM here at this site and Stay away from 1500diesel.com. Many good members at that site, its the a hand full of Mods that will serve you a hand full of *&()

What are Your plans, use for the truck?

I use it for work like pulling Small 6,000 lb tractor or hauling trash or doing work things
