    Possible exhaust leak

Hey all. Over the past 4-5 days I’ve noticed an exhaust smell in the cab. It started over the weekend, and now I can also hear a bit of a deeper exhaust sound under throttle, and a lot more of a whooshing intake/turbo sound that wasn’t there before. I seem to still be getting full boost 24-25...

EGR Delete or Trade in truck? Need help deciding what to do.

I can’t speak to your lease situation, but I will say that I deleted my EGR in January at 50k miles and it’s been great. I had a coolant leak because of the EGR and replaced it with the kit from Sasquatch and a tune from GDE. I’ve had no issues since the delete.

My EcoDiesel is awesome today because:

Awesome today because it turned in 26.4 mpg at the pump recently, hand calculated. 60k miles. GDE tuned.

My EcoDiesel is awesome today because:

No. The dealer said that it is 36k miles on emissions warranty. Others here have been told the same.

    Oil By Pass System

You can get a second ECU to be tuned, and then reinstall the stock unit when you go to the dealer. It’s an extra $650 from GDE.

My EcoDiesel is awesome today because:

Just over 50k miles. EGR was leaking coolant prolifically and dealer wanted an arm and a leg to replace it, but all is well now. Used the delete kit by Sasquatch Parts. Fuel mileage is up and seems like DEF consumption is down.

Alert for Disconnected Crank case vent

    Was it a P04DB code?

My EcoDiesel is awesome today because:

Let me revive this thread. Mine is awesome today because it’s back on the road. Had a leaking EGR cooler and replaced it with a delete kit and got the ECU tuned by GDE. Truck runs like a champ, and I’m glad to be back in the driver seat and not under the hood.

    Manual Transmission

We bought my wife an ‘11 VW Golf TDI for her job in nursing that had her driving all over Timbuktu. I wanted a manual, but ultimately it was her car so her decision and she got an auto. The DSG transmission was really snappy and fun to drive in that little car with all that torque. When I got a...

    Manual Transmission

I probably would have got a manual if it was available, but I think I’m just stubborn and possibly old-fashioned. This truck is my first auto daily driver in right at a decade... And I love it! Thank you Ram for not making a manual EcoDiesel! I still have my CJ-7 with an AMC V8 and 3-speed...

Any EGR Delete Tips or Tricks?

That have a pretty detailed, 28 page PDF. So, yes, I will say they were good instructions.

Any EGR Delete Tips or Tricks?

Got everything buttoned back up this afternoon and drove the truck for the first time in a week. I was a little startled when the truck started and immediately a message popped up telling me that the DPF was at 90% and to get my butt on the highway. I complied and a regen started, it probably...

It’s a T40, and I’m certain it was put there as a cruel joke.

Any EGR Delete Tips or Tricks?

Thanks. I have a set of Torx for taking doors and tops off of my Jeep, hopefully that will help out.

Any EGR Delete Tips or Tricks?

I did look at that one, just went with the Sasquatch kit because that’s what GDE recommended to me over the phone.
