^^^^^^^ You most certainly have that right, when I buy something it is mine. If I lease it that would be different but when I buy it it's mine to do with as I want to.

Eco Diesel Oil to use in 3.0 Eco-Diesel

I got my last order of Rotella T6 from Walmart.com it was the least expensive. UPS driver wasn't real happy that day I had ordered 4, 2 1/2 gallon jugs and 3 one gallon jugs. I use it in my tractors as well as the eco diesel. You really have to watch the numbers there it was cheaper to order 3...

Crankshaft positioning sensor and Tone Ring Failure on Eco diesel.

Not really, they also did the recalls unfortunately for the emission one and the restraints. So I don't see much if anything different in driving maybe a small mpg decrease 0.4 or 0.5 mpg. What irritates me is now I can't drive it with the door open and no belt on, I had to go buy a couple of...

Crankshaft positioning sensor and Tone Ring Failure on Eco diesel.

Mine went out last week on my 2015 at 79,000 miles, fortunately warranty covered it and they had it out of the shop the next day.

    Tire chains for 1500 eco-diesel

I run 245/75R17's I installed a set of 2 link spaced v-bar ladder chains on them, they fit and had adequate clearances. I have not had to work them. I don't believe our transfer case would like chains.

    Back up lights

Yes the led backup light replacement bulbs make a considerable difference.

    Back up lights

Instead of tapping into the wire harness you could just wire them into a 7 pin connector and plug into the trailer connector. Also you could rplace the backup lamps with led's, I got mine from amazon and they help considerably...

Anyone able to help with fuel contamination?

Where was the fuel sample from your truck pulled? Was it from the filter drain? When you got the Water in fuel did you drain your filter?

P0183 and "Water In Fuel" codes

Have you tried draining your filter into a clear bottle to look for water droplets? Some additives will try to act like dry gas and try to carry any water out of the tank and thru the fuel system. I would prefer to catch it in the filter separator and not try and pass it thru the system...

    Cold Weather Requirements

I find that the winter cover helps my mileage considerable, and I have seen no high temp issues.

    Cold Weather Requirements

The block heater is being nice to your truck, until it is sub zero it's not really needed. It does make for easier starts and faster warmups. The radiator cover should be used most of the winter, if it's under 45 deg.F unless you are towing heavy it will not overheat. It will come to...

    Oil and fuel filter change

I have thought about those but, occasionally I will be driving thru tall grass or corn stalks and I would worry.

    Oil and fuel filter change

Well just finished an oil and filter change on my 15 ecodiesel; whom ever the dealership had do the previous change had tightened the drain plug so damned tight I ended up using my impact wrench to remove the drain plug. The rubber washer under the drain plug is in pretty poor condition from...

MPG ratings, have you seen this

I've got 39000 on my 2015 Big Horn, my mileage was better when new by 2-3 mpg, after all the latest flashes and updates the last year on my normal everyday local driving, rural roads and short highway, I'm averaging 22 mpg, the other day went for a short trip mostly interstate at 75 mph my round...

The U.S. officially sues FCA over EcoDiesel emissions.

To all the crybaby bashers, I've got 38,000 on my 2015 with an overall average of 23 an 1/2 mpg, no warranty issues what so ever on a mix of country roads paved and dirt, it has excellent acceleration a decent ride.I don't like my transfer case but thats not the motor which I have been pleased...
