I'm pretty sure persons and payload they had over 1000#. Doesn't really matter much when you're sticking to flat ground. Up Hill at 55 with the extra weight is what kills your mileage. But 1000 miles to a tank is pretty frickin extreme.
And impressive.
I put a leer high rise on and barely lost any mileage. Tonneau wasn't a noticeable difference but I installed it after the 6 hour drive home the day I got my truck.
Leer 122 I maybe lose 1MPG straight driving but I still match pretty well to what I was at.
But a head or cross wind, I do feel...
I used it one month but right after payment posted the uconnect representative informed me there was no coverage in my area. Nearest would be 2 hours away next major city Grand Forks MN/ND.
I was a bit upset. It does Work well there and to someone more localized it's probably well worth it but...
I personally had to tear apart my garage and remove shelving from half of the garage to fit my 20' truck in because I wanted a 6' box. It's still tight. Then I went and did something stupid like put a high rise topper with a 7' garage door for some reason so it's stuck outside all winter. Even...
No kidding and I'm rural by Canadian Border here.
Anyways you should probably make sure that you're quoting a 55 gallon drum and not the 30-40(I can't remember what exactly oil drum standard size is anymore) so you know what cost analysis you're really giving yourself
That being said garagability is a serious factor for many people buying midsize trucks. They have no need for a full size but they want a pickup box and a truck platform. Rarely tow. Just a grocery getter. Maybe pull an ATV or boat but no serious weight
How do you like your Victory? The ecodiesel is easy to become a new favorite if you're not a die hard for your 2 wheels.
Just curious as I Work for Polaris but I've never gotten the opportunity to get on one
Hope you get some good information and share some knowledge!
Happy to have you here!
100mile commute is one thing I don't think I could handle. I live a mile from my primary job. But my secondary job is a 750mile one day round trip in the truck, the comfort of a high end model is worth it...
I've never had a tri fold tonneau cover myself but I had put a bak roll-x solid/hard aluminum rolling cover on my truck when I first got it and I loved it. It was low profile, could handle a few hundred pounds on it so snow would never have been an issue, and it locked down the entire rail so it...
Yeah I was thinking the pro master ecodiesel that is the inline.
The sprinter v6 vs the ecodiesel v6 is just a different manufacturer. Vmi/fiat 3.0 ecodiesel vs. sprinter/Mercedes 3.0 diesel (I'm honestly unsure who actually manufactures it)
Around 15,000 miles
You do need to regularly drain the fuel filter and it does increase lifespan but mopar guidelines are 30k, most anyone I know sticks to around 15k
Sorry about that here you go
