    ..and try a different dealer if you continue to get no where. Sometimes the diesel techs are just better at others.

    Welcome! Each time I change my oil, after 1 startup it's black as well. Normal for a diesel like @lucskoj said. Enjoy the EcoDiesel and read around. We've got plenty of info!

    Minor hesitations and odd regens

    Do you enough long distance trips in to actually regen? if so, perhaps your DPF might be malfunctioning causing frequent regens. Should be under warranty still (at least 80KM is 49709 Miles, in the states).

    Welcome!! A few members here in the cold as well have had that problem.

    I would start by getting an oil analysis each oil change. After a couple you can start trending and hopefully get a heads up if something maybe going wrong. Other than that, take care of it.. keep the oil, fuel, air filters change and it should treat you good!
