USA Today is also reporting:
The Environmental Protection Agency said Thursday that Fiat Chrysler installed software on more than 100,000 vehicles to cheat emissions standards.
According to a tweet by Reuters reporter Bernie Woodall, the EPA is about to accuse Fiat Chrysler of excessive pollution on 100,000 diesel vehicles..
I would assume this is what is holding up the 2017's. Not a good look so far...

We have some members here that are very knowledgeable around oil and the EcoDiesel. I'll let them chime in on that.. I prefer to stick with what FCA recommends.
Medic's right. You have to have a a "off-road tune" and a full exhaust (dpf remove) for it to sound good.
I've heard good things from both PPEI and GDE's tunes.
