So, they want you to go away without a fix? Not a good look for FCA or the dealer.. the dealer at least should be helping so you can get to a resolution.

Sounds like you're one of the unlucky ones. Whats your plans? $14K sounds like a dealer quote. Perhaps find a used engine and have a local mechanic swap it? I'd imagine you could save $6-9K if you shop around and find a decent mechanic that doesn't charge out the roof.
It seems a few more are having shifting issues post recall work. I would be pretty stern with the dealer, also open a case with FCA to see if they can help.
The 2020 has new improvements and updates, but who knows of FCA addressed the bigger issues around the new one? Time will tell I guess..
They are great looking trucks though, and still attractive with the fuel mileage they get.. but GM and Ford is going to cut into those sales with their trucks...
