Thank you sir! As a quick head's up, the sensor you listed is for the Cherokee. The RAM version is slightly differentt and about $40 cheaper.

Can anybody provide a link to a site where a guy can buy the tone wheel and position sensor? I have a hunting trip to MT coming up in September, and I'm thinking about having them replaced beforehand.
Based on previous recommendations from the site, from a preventive maintenance perspective you should remove the slow death foam from both sides of the engine on top of the valve covers. You should also remove the insulated metal cover from the high pressure fuel pump on the front of the...
The first thing I would do is do buy an OBD reset tool. This will save you time and money taking the truck to the dealer every time the SETC comes up. Unfortunately, with the age and mileage on your truck and the fact you are not running a tune, it is very likely you will continue seeing this...
I want to give @TC Diesel a YUUGE shoutout. He has answered all my questions on here and sacrificed a lot of time on the phone helping me make the right decisions with this truck. He adds a ton of value to this site and to folks like me that are diesel newbies.
Glad to hear it. I love the truck too and have put 74k miles on it since I bought it with 31k. Had recurrent "service throttle control" issues early on at around 35k miles, and dealer replaced all the fuel injectors and lines to throw me a bone (they had no idea what the root cause of the...
Recall update: dropped truck at dealer today for VB1 and W58. Service tech tries to tell me they only change out the EGR after inspection to see if its leaking. I told him that I'd been waiting for 5 weeks for the parts, and the only reason I was in town today was because the service manager...
I scheduled VB1 and W58 recall appts yesterday. I opted into the V08, and according to the service manager, he can only do the software update (W58) unless I can convince FCA to replace the hardware as well (W68). He said he is more than willing to do it, but needs formal approval in writing...
After some recent research into the fate of my GDE engine and trans tunes if I move ahead with the VB1 and W58, in my personal opinion, the W58 is soley focused on bringing tuned vehicles into compliance. If you have the recalls done, you have to pay GED $100 for the updated compliant tunes...
LOL! The raptors are pretty bada$$, but it depends on if you are willing to give up dramatic mpg decrease. Raptors are not fuel sippers in the v8 or v6TT config. Other than mpg though, i agree they are pretty tough and capable trucks.
As you recommend a couple years ago, I removed the foam and fuel pump cover from passenger side as well as the CP4 cover. Next step is to remove foam from driver's side and pay attention for oil leaks.
I popped the hood today to check for leaks and noticed my coolant appears to be pretty...
@TC Diesel, I had the intake replaced on my ED at around 40k and have been running GDE ever since. Barring the turbo and electrical fire risks, in your experience should this provide significant enough risk reduction to keep the truck?
Just finished some YouTube research, and on the 2013 and newer RAMs, the resistor is built into the blower motor. After looking at CARiD, you can actually replace the resistor on the motor. Looks like $100 fix.
After throwing consistent "service throttle control" errors, limping 70 miles back to town twice, and spending 2 full days in the delaership on 2 different occasions, all the dealer could find was a slight anomaly in fuel rail pressue. As a result, they replaced all of my injectors and...
Hey guys, anybody experiencing intermitttent blower motor operation on their ED? Mine will randomly not run at all and then turn on eventually at some point without warning. Any ideas?
