My understanding is that this cold weather air ride issues were resolved after 2014 model year. I have a 2015 and live in Iowa and have had zero issues with mine. We just finished a stretch of 3 weeks of subzero conditions to -34 and I had no problems.
I've been looking myself so I can stuff some 35" on the stock 20" Laramie wheels. I have the 4 corner air ride and found these link upgrades that are cheap and straightforward.
Adjustable sensor links
Yes. I bought the hot tune and the transmission tune. The trans tune comes with a handy little OBDC module that can be used to clear some error codes as well.
I am absolutely satisfied with the investment in these tunes and they are exceeding my expectations. The improvement in driveability, response, and performance is extraordinary to me. The main drivers for my purchasing the tunes was realization of the stated mpg as well as overall longevity...
I hear you, and the increased turbo lag and general lack of responsiveness was unacceptable to me. The GDE makes the truck run, drive, and shift like a gasser. My wife couldn't believe the improvement in driveability and doesn't call my truck "the dog of the fleet" any longer. LOL!
You don't have to get both. I pull a 17' deep-V boat during the summer and a 5,000 pound trailer in the fall, so I elected to get the trans tune as well. The settlement money i am expecting will cover both (~$1,850) and for me it was a no-brainer. Since installing the tunes, my truck VERY...
If you don't like the sluggishness get the GDE hot tune. It is a game changer. I got it and the trans tune and the first tank of fuel afterwards my average mpg went up from 22.1 over the last 13k miles to 27.3. In fact, on a 75 mile trip one way at 60 and 70mph I averaged 29.7.
I had my AEM completed a couple weeks ago, and I'm expecting $2400 back from the settlement. This will more than pay for the GDE hot tune I literally just installed in my truck. Total install time was less than an hour followed by 5 minute adaptation process. After starting it up, I had to...
2015 Laramie with 63k
Love the quality of materials and overall feel of the interior. The 15 speaker Alpine stereo is also fantastic!
I have the 4 corner air ride and, it is a peach to drive trailering or not.
The new trucks look awesome, but I still think the 2015 has an aggressive and...
I was provided a copy of the warranty after my AEM was complete.
"The extended warranty shall be in effect after your vehicle receives the AEM."
The following are covered...
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) System
DEF Injector
DEF Injector controller
DEF Storage Tank
DEF Delivery lines

I received my confirmation and claim tracking number on 5/13. Mine is also still under review.
I am second owner.
My AEM was completed and verified on 5/21.
Roger that Patrity...
All, i emailed GDE yesterday afternoon and they confirmed that the engine and transmission tunes are available for trucks that do not already have the GDE tune AND have had the AEM completed.
Here is my plan:
I will be purchasing a tuned ECM from GDE based on the AEM...
I don't have an existing GDE tune, and it looks like this is a prerequisite for the "update" available on the site.
"This product is for existing owners and 2014-2016 vehicles already running the Green Diesel EcoDiesel tune who wish to restore their tune after having received the Approved...
I submitted my claim last week, and it is still pending approval.
I did have the AEM completed today, and the results are not terrible. Maybe a hair more sluggish throttle, slightly more turbo lag, but mpg was virtually the same or slightly better.
I was perusing the extended warranty...
I just had my AEM completed today. The truck seems a little more sluggish and turbo lag seems slightly worse. However, the mpg is the same of slightly better than normal.
The key piece missing from the list above is the actual intake manifold itself. Fortunately, I was able to persuade the...
