    Change the oil filter each time the oil is changed... I'd change the fuel filter around 10-15K miles.

    Wow.. the dealers are upcharging them (imagine that). I forgot one member posted a outrageous amount a few months ago after quoting his dealer for a entire replacement.

    That's most of the modern diesels, including all Gen EcoDiesels sadly.. tuning fixes that, but then warranty is likely gone.

    Perhaps the harness under the truck that runs into the transmission? It's known to take on water and cause a number of issues.
