    The most economical route is to find one from a lower mileage wreck.. sites like car-part.com is a good resource. Newer motors are much more than that.. some have reporting upwards of almost 15K for a brand new engine.

    ..or you can buy a OBD reader on Amazon. Example: https://www.amazon.com/OBDLink-Bluetooth-Professional-Grade-Diagnostic-Performance/dp/B07JFRFJG6/ Alpha OBD is the most recommended one as it can do so much more.

    Best bet is to go to an auto parts store.. they can pull the code for you.. usually free!

    Maybe some Help CP4 Recall on Ram Cummins 2019-21

    CP4 has always been an issue ( a bit overblown sometimes)... the Duramax LML guys migrate to a Cp3 using a conversion kit a lot to avoid the failure and bombing the entire fuel system.
