    The EGR is is only 1 of 4 causes of the fires , They are Turbo, Plenum, electrical, EGR, the majority of fires in My investigation are Plenum related due to soot accumulations and Valve warping, this causes the Flame to enter the intake after the combustion Stroke. Melt the plenum and ignite.

    Joe, You need a fire Truck, One owner had two EXTINUISHERS and garden hose, He was lucky it did NOT burn down his House. He had just enough Time to back it out of the Garage before the electronic shifter lock up in Park. Once The Fire burns up the wiring it defaults to Lock/Park.

    Fiat has treated Canadian owners unfairly IMO, You should be covered on the AEM 4/48. Stand your ground Keep all Your receipts, Document everything, Keep a log on Dates and Times, that will prove extremely important to recover your looses on the Recall if CA is included.

    It may be gelled up, Its unlikely at 9F, Clear #2 in America is refined to 0F. its a 2020 So I would seek Warranty. That being said I would check the drop sheets at Station(s) you fuel at, I Checked Most MT, ND, MN, WI and all stations drop sheets clear# 2 cloud -32F and pour at -40.
