FCA work to settle criminal investigation (1-8-19) update
It's not uncommon for a dealer to "update" (flash) the truck to the latest software. In my previous vehicles it was pretty common. It really depends on the dealer. You would need the proper tools to be able to tell if it was flashed or not.- BoostN

Try removing the negative battery cable for a bit. Otherwise, it might be a defective unit and/or need a software update. I remember someone having a similar problem and a software update resolved the issue for whatever reason. If you're under warranty take advantage of it. :)- BoostN

EcoDiesel OBD II Flashing now available.
It looks like we no longer have to send in the ecm for flashing as we can now do it via the OBD port under the dash per a post by Kory Willis.- BoostN

Welcome.. It's just bad luck I guess. I've seen no info that would tell me Ram is working on it, or even acknowledges the issue. At least you have warranty that will take care of it for you.- BoostN
