At 63+ with available air suspension or the limited model the truck lowers about 1 inch to help break the wind as long as you do not have a 7 pin trailer connected or are in tow/haul mode then it bypasses it.
Or if you have over 2500# or so payload it overloads and will only maintain standard...
I've got 355 miles on the clock on this tank of fuel so far. I've driven from Roseau MN (10 miles from Canadian Border) to the Mall of America Bloomington, MN
Pretty damn good. 3 persons and some light luggage. Been driving 56-60MPH only surpassing that to 63MPH to hit Aero then backing off...
Agree. Before winter and after winter. $50 annual maintenance to your fuel system. People spend that in a couple of months on additives so what's the big deal
I was seriously considering going to the 65 series tire also but in the Cooper atw
It's an all season but winter siped version of at3's.
You're MPG calculations aren't considering that you're actually traveling more MPH and more miles than your Odo is reading because of the larger tire.
I'm...
Replace maybe; but is it working? Is it actually engaging after replacement or just a new one thrown in and assumed it's ok?
What pieces of that puzzle were the ones replaced?
I don't know about anyone else but my drain pans are far from clean. Gear oil, transmission fluid, oil, coolant. You can't just pour that oil into your rig. Oil touches that drain pan and it's garbage
Neat trick with the ez valve, if you recycle your oil and save the containers from your previous oil change you can drain it quart by quart with no mess at all back into containers to bring in. No oil pans, no mess at all.
And if anything happens and you need to redo an oil change same thing...
I still do not understand the topsider method of oil changes. Even on my old Mercedes Clk where I had to remove the entire splash pan to drain the oil that was still my choice. At least you know what's going on under your engine.
And the ram works great with the ez drain valve
For now this is still my choice and was my 3rd round of oil.
Considering the Mobil ESP though. I am a fan of Mobil1 synthetic and have run it in all of my other (mostly German) gas vehicles for years.
Unfortunate scenario and I can't believe the dealers would leave you in that position.
What about your purchasing dealer at home? Will they after the fact provide a loaner or won't they touch you without them physically doing the warranty Work?
@renewal101 @01TwoForty you are right the "oil cooler" is only a heat sink that is moreso an oil warmer to get oil to efficient operating temps but it does virtually no good to actually cool the engine temp only capable of bringing it to coolant temp.
If you look near the oil filter there is a...
A fuel Filters life is extended by simply draining it into a bucket. A gallon ice cream pail or the bottom half of a washer fluid or other frequently used gallon size jug sits perfectly on top of the drive shaft to catch any spillage.
The factory drain plug takes a long time to drain. It vapor...
I've seen -35 below and the only issues I have is the blower not quite keeping up with defrosting the windows if there's too many people in the truck. But then again I've had a winter cover on at least partial since it's been 60°F and dwindling.
I do know that if your climate control is on Auto...
I've heard of the throttle control. Maybe just a nox sensor for the exhaust. It's not been cold enough to really foul anything in the DEF system except maybe the injector is just plugged
You do get quite a bit of room to alter and Work with the quad reflectors. The factory projectors are super tight. I've managed to squeeze my ballasts and ignitors into the housing though and it's clean. All I have is two short wires coming from the seam of the rear cover for my HID power input...
