I've never come across that.. I will say though, I've never let any modern diesel I've owned "Cool down" just after normal driving. I've pulled 15K+ with my last Duramax and yes, I did wait 5 or 10 minutes after getting to my destination but never on just a small load or unloaded truck.
Welcome! You're correct.. a few different things could be causing it. Hopefully the dealer has a good tech in house that can get you up and running again!

Yea, not much out there on that code it seems. I bet your dealer will likely do a reflash and say let's see how it goes.. I would take to the dealer for sure though just to be safe.

Not much of a market it seems for big power EcoDiesels. The big 3 (Dmax, Powerstroke, Cummins) have a lot bigger market share and folks are into big power. With that said, I'm not sure how reliable the ecodiesel can be with big power?
