I can't say I've heard that before. Can you stop and raise the hood, and see if you can trace it down while it's running in park? Maybe have someone give it throttle in different range.
That's a fact on GM's ECM's for the Duramax. If Ram does the same, I don't know.
But yes, the dealer really has to go the extra mile to "get the goods".

A lot of variables to fuel mileage. Short trips, hilly terrain, etc will affect the MPG. With that said, it does seem a little low. Start with the basics, air filter, fuel filter, etc and see if your mileage improves.
Note, they are only reporting on the V6 and Hemi at this time. Looks like we'll have to wait awhile longer to get the diesel pricing.

That's good news, so basically that's saying FCA can't keep that function proprietary to them, but they must allow other 3rd parties to implement this in other aftermarket tools? I'm sure FCA wanted to keep this a "dealer only" item to charge for it. Just my guess though.
