That's right. If it's that full for an engine light to come on, most likely it's almost stopped up. Also, if the DPF is bad, it will stop up faster and faster, then you for sure will need a new one.

A sticker on a ECM isn't going to save a warranty. They can and will pull the file to see if it's been modified. On the GM's, a certain checksum(?) can be set to OEM parameters to match what they have set. That is immoral.. modifying something and then making your mark to say it's not been...

Here's the deal. Aftermarket tuning companies do not have to abide by the same rules that the manufactures do. This is no different then all of the other tuning companies out there. PPEI, Spartan, EFILive, etc doesn't have to tune within the restrictions as outlined by the government. So, Tuner...

Sounds like you need a new dealer.. changing the oil really isn't going to fix your DPF problem. DPF filter itself might be bad.

Sorry about the truck, but glad everyone is safe, that's all that matters. As far as replacement. All you can do is hold out, and really, no one knows what's going to happen with the EPA.

Very interesting.. seems like it's 3rd party company, not the government wanting to test the truck. Probably looking for hard evidence to make some $$$$.
