It's a tough one. It really depends on how much you trust the truck. I once removed the "DPF" and other "emissions" on my last Duramax truck with 3,000K miles on it. Was I crazy? Maybe... but I never had a problem with that truck and ran great and I didn't have to worry about the emissions...
All new modern diesels have the DPF filter and require regenerations to be performed to keep the filter clean. These happen automatically when the filter reaches a threshold in the programming.
My personal opinion, if the filter is closer to the front or the back it doesn't really matter as...
Good point.. I wish we could get more of these. The fix of just replacing the motor without finding the cause is baffling. Of course, just maybe FCA doesn't want to share what's going wrong.

I usually have really good luck with Amazon, and they almost never mess up twice in a roll. Some tough luck for sure.. But, yea anytime you're in a hurry to get something done it almost never works out in my experience.
