    Excellent post, and I agree 100%. I was hoping for the 4.5L Duramax, GM was so close.

    Why you decided to buy new instead of used?

    1) Diesels hold their value much better, and a lot of times because of the finance rate it pays to pay 2-4 more thousand for a new one. Plus, it's new! :D 2) Finding a used EcoDiesel was pretty tough awhile back ago because of how new they were.

    That 60 month thing..yes, it makes you think about skipping that new truck. I sure thought about when buying new. Good GM story, I've had may GM trucks that never gave me any problems.
