You misread what I said. I’m talking about an ECM tune. Like from Green diesel engineering or PPEI.

If you are paying all this out of pocket, why not get it tuned? Do you not have a warranty? The tune will stop the service throttle control light issues

Try cleaning your MAF sensor right after your intake and see if that helps? I can’t think of any other intake sensor on the truck other than that?

Just looked up p003b as that’s probably what it is, since a capital b would look like an 8 on a digital readout. An actual code comes up. It’s an intake temp sensor code

That’s essentially what mine looks like and how it functions. Definitely never seen that code before though.

They have a list that they have to work through, even though they don’t actually fix the problem. It’s based on the ecm and since they don’t have a flash update for it, you’re kinda SOL unless you decide to do a tune which fixes it, or you could drive around with a code scanner

PPEI said the tune is switchable on the fly, and the selector is wired into the ECM and ran to the cab I presume. Below are the install instructions they emailed me

so I was looking for a tune on ppei today for a different engine and stumbled back over to the ecodiesel tunes and they now make an option that you can select between all the tunes they offer, for an extra 150$ (100 for the other tunes, 50 for the selector switch).
