    LED lights

Yep. Well. The 2018 Quads still suck! I'm really glad I finally found some LED's that cure the problem. There's a lot of JUNK out there on the LED market. Most has a fantastic add campaign behind it. It's really "buyer beware". Rumor has it that RAM finally addressed the issue of poor headlights...

    LED lights

The new "undergroundlighting.com" LED lows are fantastic! Nice white light with a good cutoff. 2-300% better than OEM halogen. No can bus errors, flicker etc. I'm very satisfied. If the highs work as well as the lows, the KC's may not be necessary. I lowered the headlights after the 1st test...

    Led Headlights

Undergroundlighting.com My 2nd try with LED's for my 2018 quads. Morimoto 2-strokes sucked and went back. These are excellent! Compact, fir easily with the small can bus adapters into the low beam space. Nice white light. Good cut off. I just tried the lows because of my previous poor luck...

    Aux Light attachment bar??

My solution. KC Daylighters on a Black Horse Bull bar. Yep, I had to turn the front sensors off, but I've got along without sensors for 53 years. 2018 Bighorn

    Led Headlights

Old thread but I'll be posting results with my 3rd LED try tonight.

    Mirrors

I resort to turning mine down at night if there's an idiot behind me or I'm on the interstate. Usually a dip of the head is all it takes when you need to change lanes. Shut off the center stack and dim the dash lights.

    LED lights

They came Tuesday and I installed them this afternoon. I'll be taking them out for a test drive tonight. It's supposed to be raining so that will be even better. Pic. in garage with installation supervisor, Kimber, in the foreground.

    LED lights

Well, call me wet behind the ears if you want, but I ordered another pair of LED's for my low beams today. These are coming from "Underground Lighting". The owner Danny convinced me this AM that I would not have the poor on road performance with his LED's that I did with the Morimoto 2 Stroke...

    LED lights

Blackhorse Bull bar is on with Daylighters mounted. Great solution for seeing critters in time on lonely dark roads. Now I just need to find a non-LED solution for the lows. Apparently the Silverstar ultras and the Phillips ultra or whatever do not have a great life expectancy. It's such a PIA...

    Bypass oil filter

I installed an Amsoil "universal" bypass filter last month on my 2018 @7000 miles shortly after my 1st oil change. I had to add 1qt. of oil to account for the filter capacity.I did it for the reasons you mentioned even though I've had a GDE ECU since 345 miles which shuts off the EGR. I don't...

    Moderator help!

I've lost my password. I was only able to log on today thru responding to a notice about remote oil filter install. Can a moderator please send my password to my e-mail directly? I've failed every time I try with the "password reset" option. Thanks, Liggett

    30K Oil Change - 2018 Ecodiesel

I don't intend at the moment to do oil analysis since I don't intend to put much more than 10K per year on this truck. I did the remote filter @ 7000 purely as an "insurance policy". Cleaner oil cannot but help with longevity. I took the feed off the "oil pressure sender" and mounted the filter...

    LED lights

I should have mentioned that my truck is a 2018 Bighorn with quad headlamps. The led's didn't work well in mine.

    4X4 Hubs

I saw a kit somewhere, just don't remember where. I know it was expensive. It required replacing parts back into the front differential. But I like your thinking. I'm the same. I'd like to know that when I'm in 2WD I'm not needlessly spinning front drive parts.

    2016 Eco Diesel fix problem

All these reply's (on this forum and others) and issues with the fix make me wonder if FCA or the dealerships really know what they're doing regarding the "fix" to 2016 and earlier Eco's. My 2018 had none of the issues of sluggishness before the GDE tune at 345 miles. Granted, the GDE woke up...

    30K Oil Change - 2018 Ecodiesel

I've got a 2018 also. While I don't put on the miles that the OP does, the first thing I did was a GDE tune at 345 miles and then installed an Amsoil remote bypass filter system after my first oil change @ 7K.

    LED lights

I tried Morimoto 2-Stroke 2.0 in my lows and I forgot which other brand in the highs. Neither were cheap and I sent them back. The pattern was horrible with both but they looked like they would be great in the daylight. At night, not so much. Stock bulbs back in and a set of KC Gravity 6"...

Thanks, but I don't have a truck yet!

I'm probably going to trade the Wife's 2015 Volvo tomorrow for a 2018 1500 ECO Diesel Big Horn. New. I've read LOT's negative and some positive. Being a retired farmer, I'm not new to diesel but I'll admit I'm worried about all the emissions BS and the electronics. I've seen a few 250K tractors...
