I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but here is a quick grab of the front and back of the 2016 Ram's. A few have hit the lots already.

What do you think?

I think I wouldn't buy a limited [emoji6].

Pretty gaudy IMO. Ya think Ram engineers are tired of their trucks still being referred to as Dodges?

With that huge lettering of "Ram" in the back it makes me think so..

I believe I've read that the letters are recessed. Not easily removed like most emblems.

The late 2015 that I saw in a dealer showroom did not have a recess that I could see, However, there is likely holes behind for alignment of the letters. Need a solution as I ordered a 2016 and that RAM have to go!

It's only the Limited I think. I bet riding in the truck is nice. But looking at that tailgate is not.

I'm sure many people will be in search of 2009-2015 tailgates is what I think.

The only feature that I like is the chrome strip for the "limited" and "4X4" on the lower part of the tailgate. That actually looks nice.

As for the rest? At least it's a limited only thing. And at least I got a 2015

We have a 2016 Ram 1500 Limited Crew Cab 4X4 with the Ecodiesel engine. We ordered all the bells and whistles except: tow hooks, tonneu cover and factory running boards. We got the AMP Running Boards installed a few days after delivery. I guess it's a matter of personal taste. What we like about the Limited is that it's different from other Ram trucks but I suppose you could swap grills if it really bothered you. They look like they might be exchangeable.

How do you like the Amps? So far, IMO, it's the best money I've spent....

Not a huge difference, but I do like the bigger grill of the current models better.

Yea, if this is what they look like I feel like Ram went cheap and didn't spend much time on the redesign.

I saw some stuff out there that kinda looked like a possible half ton Mega cab, they also have a rear door redesign and are possibly integrating the fold flat rear seats.

Also heavier axles as it had 6 bolt opposed to our now 5 on 5.5

That photo above is a photo Shop pinched ram of our current generation, they will likely be keeping the crosshair grill as well as the ram style from the limited and rebel were not big thrillers but it will likely be lower profile for aerodynamics

Hmmm....still have four to five years of payments left before mine is paid off. There probably will be a few more changes before I will get around to buying another!

Yeah I do not see the 2019 being the big revamp that it was supposed to be but likely a facelift, like you said grim, there will be more to come in the future.
