Yes there was message couple days ago exhaust filter is 80% full and very next day 100% full after a short trip!
Engine service light 💡 came ON and blinking dash light of service electronicthrottle Control 😌
I jus had a hwy trip over 100km on it but there is no changes in dash lights !
Yep, ALFA or WITECH, If you are able to drive? take to HWY Speeds and see if the 100% will drop to 90-80-70-60% until completed. If the service electronicthrottle appears its for sure WITECH.
I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Eoc Diesel and have the same message "Service ElectronicThrottle Control" and also loosing coolant within the engine somehow. Curious did replacing the EGR Valve and EGR Cooler solve the problem? And if so, for how long did it last?
So after 6,000$ I fixed my issue with the 2-5 times a day reset of the computer. I was using the AEM gauge to clear the code so I could keep driving and through an immense amount of research I found multiple issues that cause this code; throttle body, coolant temp sensor, accelerator pedal...
...eco diesel and had the egr cooler replaced under the recall. Less than 2 weeks later, lights come on saying exhaust filter is 100% full and service electronicthrottle control. I’m thinking I should not have to pay for this service? If they want me to, what would a normal cost be? Thanks kris
...I bought a 2016 Ecodiesel 5 weeks ago. has performed flawlessly until this morning. my drive into work(about 7 min) the Service ElectronicThrottle Control warning showed up went into limp mode and engine service light came on. It sat for about 5 hours and went out to lunch drove back home...
...compatible and capable of putting the Truck into Stationary De-soot, The message sometime combine with the 100% Full is service electronicthrottle control, that will require WITECH, but with the DPF de-Sooted you can still drive With the Messag. ALFA would have alllowed you to continue on...
...me the tuner, says that when I take it in to have codes read to tell them not to flash it because it has been tuned. Still no luck with the Service ElectronicThrottle Control. Wondering that since all the stuff has been deleted, could it be the accelerator pedal or probably not? Thanks again!
...4 hours home and liked the drive. Sunday morning I got up to drive it to the airport as I travel for work and I got the Service ElectronicThrottle Control message. Really never saw this when I was reviewing the truck till I looked on this site. The truck has EGR and DEF Delete already so...
I finally got rid of my ethrottle issue... cost me a princes ransom. Had to machine the heads to extract the glow plugs, new accelerator pedal, throttle body, injectors, coolant/oil sensors and associated gaskets. Going on 3 months with no codes/limps 🤷🏻♂️
So I’m six hours away from home working on a job site and all of a sudden I get this message on my dashboard so I take it to the local Dodge dealership here in Odessa and three days later they call me and tell me they want $6000 to fix the truck, The salesman added the most expensive warranty...
Still up for sale. And yes, you're correct. The new EPA compliant tune can not touch the EGR system. Don't waste your money... If you want to prolong the life of your ecodiesel, need to shutoff that EGR asap.
rogedmonds, You certainly have something to be concerned about.
From what I've read over the various forums it seems that Ecodiesels been dependable after the current recall, mine for sure is. The first AEM recall flash was not good and it was corrected in early January. The dealer should...
...time. The lag is dangerously bad. I'm not exactly sure what they're doing this time but I had 1.Check engine light, 2. Service electronicthrottle control. 3. Turbo boost pressure low. 4. Exhaust gas temperature too low. They said this time they have to completely remove the cab of the...
I have had the SERVICE ELECTRIONIC THROTTLE CONTROL on going for about 9 months now on my 2015 ecodiesel with 180,000kms. Originally would come on every few hundred kms and vanish when I shut the vehicle off. It has since become more consistent and I can not go more than 30km (if im lucky) on...
...a used car lot. (Owner clamed he bought it from local Ram dealership) Monday morning a check engine light came on with Service ElectronicThrottle Control on the dash. I took it back to the dealer and they told me it was Code p0299 lowboost. Im familiar with the code as I have a 5.9l Cummins...
...sale? I'm grinding through some warranty replacements of intake/egr replacement/*possibly* injectors after the dreaded Service ElectronicThrottle control. Once I have the final p026d code worked out, I might be interested in taking that off your hands. I assume the newer GDE tune does not...
...it in the shop three or four times for this same issue. Check Engine light on 3000 RPM max no power. Also says need to service ElectronicThrottle Control. Any thoughts on it being the throttle sensor. The peddle response has always been all over the place, Some of the time its responsive...
I get the lighting bolt, service electronicthrottle control, about every 100 or 150 miles.
Does it stock and does it deleted tuned. Either way.
Falls on its ass. I can pull over erase the code, goes right back to like nothing ever happened, anybody or someone have a fix for this shit.
Mostly...
