    I buy the walmart blue peak def and never had an issue. I wouldn't be afraid of the high volume ones either however.

    I haven't, but it looks like something I wouldn't trust on my $50K truck. Also, you can't even flash an EcoDiesel via the OBD port. So I would say it's just a fooler anyways. Go with something tried and true. GDE, PPEI, etc..

    Welcome to the forum! Sound like a streak of bad luck as hit you. The electronic throttle control code is random, and I'm not sure I've seen one fix or solution yet for it. Some have the problem, and some do not. For your other issues, all new to me personally. Let's hope the dealer can get...

    Exhaust system

    Craig, the only exhaust that works with emissions intact would be a DPF back exhaust, and those are for looks only. You won't have any sound differences. To run a full aftermarket exhaust , and to hear a sound difference, you would have to buy "off road tuning" that disables the emissions...

    They can look at your VIN and see if you're "qualified" for the new oil.

    A scanner, or monitor like the Banks IQ or Edge CTS2 Major auto parts stores will clear codes for you as well free of charge.
