I didn't think of the pump not being under the emissions warranty.. but, it's a key part of keeping the trucks emissions "clean". I would fight that.. give Ram customer service a call and see what they say.

Overall, they are good trucks. Some folks will never have a problem. It would be nice if we did know why some engines are failing but it's hush hush from Ram for now.. or at least no one has been told what's going on and reported it.
Maintain the truck like the manual states...

I'm not aware of any members that have posted they're from Alaska, but theres a chance someone here has the experience. With that said, the guys from Canada doesn't seem to have a problem so far with extremely cold temps.
I have one, again. What I'm saying, if you're towing within the recommended weight of the truck, you should never have to worry about turning the AC off or anything. The truck should be built to handle that.
I'm not saying overload the truck, and expect it to not overheat.
Another one bites the dust.. I wish we had a rhyme or reason why this is happening. Welcome to the site Jack.. hate you found us because of a blown motor though. Keep us updated.
