Yea, it seems like we hear all the time of the dealers not using the correct oil. Such a simple task to check and they can't get that right...

Also, the BFG's are one of the better looking tires and really hard to be the performance from what everyone says. They might be my next tire. Nitto just released the "Ridge Grappler" and it looks great as well.

I personally like a little bigger tire, it helps fill the truck out and make it look more like a truck.Everyone has a different opinion though.

I always use the BLUE DEF brand but DEF is all the same, or it should be at least. If the code comes back, definitely make an appointment at the dealer. Otherwise just drive the EcoDiesel and enjoy it!

Code search says it's related to the DEF tank. Unfortunately not much we can do from here. Hopefully the dealer has some good info/fixes for you. Keep us updated! Welcome to the site!

Good observation. A person would think it would be the earlier model trucks (2014) since it was the first year.

I say freeway just because the truck will not start or finish a cycle if your crusing through the neighborhood at 30 mph (stop and start)

They do help pay the bills..I'm fine as of right now though! As long as everyone keeps posting and coming back the site will be ruled a success!

I would ask Ram why you didn't get a message. You should always get a message when your close to getting full.

Welcome to the site! First, did you ever get any messages on the dash telling you the exhaust was getting full, or a "drive at highway speeds until this message clears" message? EcoDiesels (and all new modern diesels) have a DPF that collects soot and other "harmful" particles and traps them...

Welcome to the site! Smart move on buying your own OBD II reader. They are handy to have in situations like that.. I would recommend getting all the recalls done and see how it goes!
