CEL and Codes After Oil Change

Ahh. Gotcha. Will the dealer be able to determine the exact cause? I just find it odd that this all started right after an oil change.

CEL and Codes After Oil Change

What is the 6.0 and 3 0? I have no idea what you're talking about.

CEL and Codes After Oil Change

Follow up.... tried to get my state inspection today. Obviously it didn't pass emissions. Im still stuck because those are a lot of different things to look at. I wish I had a more definitive code directing me to what is actually wrong. I scheduled an appt with the dealer to hook it up to...

CEL and Codes After Oil Change

I delete the code, but it comes back during extended idle sometimes. I do hear the turbo whistling which I never heard before.

CEL and Codes After Oil Change

Would it be related to the oil change? What is the AEM? What do you mean by castrated? The last update really screwed the performance, but made it so I fit within the eco standards.

CEL and Codes After Oil Change

So, I finally did my own oil change on 2014 ED w/160k miles. I had a CEL right after. The codes are P2D2E and P200B. After clearing them, they come back on while the engine is in idle. Otherwise, they stay away. This has been a couple of weeks now. I had thought maybe the engine just...

    P203e code

    They did it.

    P203e code

Well... they expedited my case. The dealership convinced them that it wasn't my fault. It' getting covered under the 80,000 mile emissions warranty. I had 83,000 when it was first "diagnosed". It is getting replaced next week.

    Stuck window... off track-slow motor.

Froze again and came off the clips. Any idea where to get the clips?

    Stuck window... off track-slow motor.

Just spent 2 hours putting my window back on track in a 15 degree garage. I tried to roll my window down the other day. It stayed up, but the mechanism went down. Then a couple of days later, the window dropped. Anyhow... I got it back on track and got one of locking clips in the window...

    P203e code

Update... I did contact dodge directly. They contacted my dealer and then there was some back and forth. Supposedly, they are escalating the issue and I should be hearing back from them soon. Who knows... Maybe there will be a recall soon?

    P203e code

Sounds very similar to what my plan is. I wish there was a way to contact dodge directly. It needs to be recalled. I' imagining as these trucks get older, more and more people will have this problem. I though about going on every dodge dealership website and posting to people not to buy an...

    P203e code

    No counter. But yes, 203e.

    P203e code

Well... the code is back. But the gauge is still above half.

    P203e code

It's ust a poor design. This shouldnt be a problem. As soon as ibsee the gauge move, I'll put some def in. Hopefully the code won't come back. I' not as concerned with the code as I am with getting to the "0 miles left and it won't restart message"

    P203e code

Thanks. My gauge is still 2/3 full. The tank is completely full. Everything i see, says thats sometimes typical.
  17. C

    P203e code

Haven' seen CEL again after clearing it and putting in more DEF. Now though, the gauge is only reading a little over half when in reality, the def was overflowing. Keeping fingers crossed that it will adjust.

    P203e code

I' m hoping so. Looked at a few things. I' thinking it might be def quality. Which makes sense. Probably needs to run through the system

    P203e code

    Now I have a p20ee code. Uggghhh

    P203e code

Just finished letting the vinegar solution sit for about 4 hours. It's midnight. I' soaking wet and smelling like vinegar. However, when I refilled with def and turned it on voila! Holy crap... it worked. I wonder if the def is a different density and somehow it registered on the gauge...
