    HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP RECALL

One of the other ram 1500 forums has info saying there is a new part number out to cover that recall, the MOPAR site still says "NO PARTS AVAILABLE" when I query my VIN. but members there insist , so IDK.

    Rpm surge at highway speed

If you use the shift buttons and shift up so the gear shows on the dash you can observe what gear it's in. Y could also force a downshift to 7th to see if it persists, it may be the torque converter unlocking and locking, or the AC compressor cycling.

How many miles on the fuel filter? Are there any codes?

    Hey there ...

Invest in the EDGE CTS MONITOR, it will show you soot loading, regen status and a bunch of other stuff, I would also suggest ALFAOBD with a good obd dongle, ALFA OBD requires windows or android operating system and will not work on an APPLE product. I use an unused kindle fire 8HD, It works...

    Hey there ...

And by "hit the highway or interstate" he means as soon as you can get there, no messing around. I'd recommend getting an EDGE monitor, either a CTS2, OR 3. IMO the 2 is a little better because it will initiate a forced regen where as the 3 3 will not. The 3 will allow you to monitor more...

Hi, new to the site. 2017 ram eco diesel big horn. Just finished doing a delete for the def put a 4” lift on it with 35’s.

You said you did a delete for the DEF, did you mean the DPF? What tune did you use?

Anyone ever deleted an ecodiesel with hp tuners?

Basically you need the EGR block off and the TURBO DOWN PIPE, I got both from EBAY, or you can try Mrtuning out of Canada, in fact Mr has very excellent tunes and trans mission tuning.

    R.I.P. EcoDiesel / NEVER EV

As a former machinist and well versed in vibration principles, high speed balancing and predictive/preventative maintenance I feel a PROPER failure analysis of a decent cross sampling of engines is necessary for a proper reasoning of ECODIESEL failures. I've read of line bore problems...

I agree, it's also very very redundant, if you don't mind paying a small amount per year you can go with ALLDATA.COM

Here's a link, some of it is a little corrupted but it's still very good. Here's a zip file, if it doesn't work then it's post #53 in the other link. https://www.dropbox.com/s/bflvnogpwg5y88c/Dodge_Ram_1500_2014-2016.zip?dl=0...

Force regen not getting hot enough

I was getting worried on mine, no codes just the 100% message on my insight, Ithink it took a couple of weeks until we headed out of town for a trip to Phoenix, it finally dropped into a regen and has been fine since.

Force regen not getting hot enough

Have you tried driving it until it starts a regen? You mentioned that you saw and verified 600* CELSIUS during the stationary regen, that equates to 1,112* FARENHEIT which is about where mine runs during regen, 1,052 to about 1,210 on average but settling around 1,112. Maybe the DPF is failing...

So, after re-reading the part of your post where I thought you misspelled my name I realized that I was looking at the part of the Geico phrase about it being easy, so please accept my apology for pointing out you misspelling my name that you didn't misspell. does that make sense?

    Feedback Welcome

I don't think the "injector cleanout" issue was caused by the EGR COOLER FAILING, Probably an UPSELL on an unneeded service. FIND A NEW DEALER. As far as the brolen harness clip, there's probably a simple fix available, like a $1.00 ziptie. Also, to the best of my knowledge there is no fix for...

I believe they were COOPER DISCOVERER AT3 4S 275/60-R20, OR A SLIGHT VARIATION, I just put 4 new COOPER RUGGED TREK on it a couple months back because the others were not available at the time and information indicated they had been phased out. The RUGGED TREK are a much more aggressive tread...
