I stationary desoot many trucks over the years, Some owners bring them here just to get the service performed correctly, I don't believe I've had one return in short order... These DPF vehicles that see majority Stop and go city driving just need to have Stationary desooting done 1 or 2 times...

You are creating soot during the Active Regen Cycle, It just does not get the ash burnout, It takes considerable more fuel during the Stationary Desooting , if you injected that amount during operating you would be increasing wear to the rotating mass.

More info the better, The whistle sound is more like a leak, and if its a leak it will throw turbo Codes, and if the turbo is done its probably just the beginning of your problems, the intake will be next and than the DPF.
If they replace the turbo demand to see the intake plenum , I'm 100%...
I doubt the turbo has failed.
I believe that work needs to performed by a trained, experienced, knowledgeable, qualified, technician...

All additive do (Other than lower the cloud point) is mask problems in Diesels, if you continue to use additives you will increase your problems in the ED.
Call any refinery and ask for the chemist Dept, they will clearly indicate that additives can possibly cause separation of the additive...
The pan needs to be dropped ,the filter and the pan are 1 unit, just drop the fluid and measure the volume, and add 8-16oz for fluid just guess at what spilled and loss and your good... contrary myth a little over is ok, A lot NO.

You cannot clean HPCR injectors, You can dismantle and remove debris. R/R re-assemble and calibrate .. No Dealer in N/A has the equipment or the knowledge in their personnel to preform the procedure.
